Half Way House
John Hannum – William Hannum House
547 Concord Road

“St. John’s Episcopal Church is just a short distance up the road from Tucker Farm on the other side of the hill on top of which stands the brick house built by our ancestor, John Hannum I, about 1686” (Hannum, p. 59).
The John Hannum – William Hannum House was built c. 1695 for John and Margery Hannum on 200 acres of land. Additions were built in 1720 and 1840. Some of the first church services for St. John’s Episcopal Church were held in this home.
The Hannum House is still a private residence and sits on 2.147 acres of land today.
